The Proposal

we sat at a restaurant on the water and the waiter told me someone was waiting by the water for me ...

7 years later, my dad booked a family trip to Melbourne and on the second night we sat at a restaurant on the water and the waiter told me someone was waiting by the water for me, I remember my legs shaking and barely being able to walk. He was standing there laughing because he was so nervous. He proposed right by the water and took me to Aladdin the musical right after which I had been dying to see.

how we met

Kosma’s two best friends happen to be my relatives, one is my god brother and one is my cousin. We were sitting at a table one day and he was complaining to them he couldn’t find a nice girl and my cousin jokingly said “what about my little cousin”, I was only 15 at the time so I remember going bright red and being embarrassed, but a few weeks later I added him on MSN and we spoke every single day without fail for the next 9 years. In only a few months of talking he told me that in 365 days he would ask me to be his girlfriend, I thought he was crazy but when the countdown ended he did!

"you just can’t let anything phase you or upset you to stop you from having the best day of your life"

Your wedding is one day we all dream about for so long (7 years for me), you just can’t let anything phase you or upset you to stop you from having the best day of your life. You have spent so much time, money and effort planning this day so take every single moment in because you will never get it again. That attitude got me over all the little bumps that planning a wedding can bring and my husband and I couldn’t have had a more incredible day.
